Appointo (hereinafter referred to as "the Service", "we", "us") is an independent SaaS scheduling platform designed to help small and medium-sized businesses automate client bookings. The Service is currently in open beta testing and is provided to all users entirely free of charge, with no commercial purpose whatsoever.
This page has been created to transparently communicate the temporary nature of the current name and domain, and to prevent any misunderstanding arising from the use of the designation "Appointo".
Key fact: We generate no revenue. No user pays for access to the Service. No commercial activity is conducted.
The name "Appointo" and the domain appointo.xyz were independently selected by the development team at the outset of the project. At the time of registering the domain in the .xyz top-level domain, we did not conduct a comprehensive trademark clearance search. We acknowledge this as an oversight on our part.
We are aware of the existence of the "Appointo" application for the Shopify platform (Sidepanda Inc.). We make no claim of affiliation, endorsement, or association with that service. The use of an identical name is coincidental and was not intended to imitate or exploit any third-party mark.
As of the date of this notice (May 2026), the Service is in open beta:
Under the trademark laws of most jurisdictions, non-commercial use of a designation that does not create consumer confusion as to the origin of goods or services constitutes a significant mitigating factor in any assessment of trademark infringement.
We publicly commit to the following actions within 3 to 6 months from the date of this notice (i.e., by November 2026):
The Service will adopt a new, original name with no similarity to existing third-party trademarks.
All infrastructure (landing page, admin panel, API) will migrate to a new domain name.
The domain appointo.xyz and the name "Appointo" will be fully retired from all materials and communications.
All registered users will be notified of the rebranding, and this page will be updated accordingly.
This Service is not, and has never been, affiliated with, endorsed by, authorised by, or sponsored by any third party using the "Appointo" designation, including but not limited to Sidepanda Inc. and its Shopify application.
Any resemblance in name is entirely coincidental. We have no intention of misleading consumers as to the origin, quality, or characteristics of our services, nor do we seek to exploit the reputation or goodwill of any third-party service.
